Hr20 trouble with hdmi output

I have been running my hr20/700 with component cables to tv in family rm and ran hdmi cable to TV in basement with out problem, until yesterday when I was watching tv and I suddenly lost picture, sound was ok. I checked all component cables which were ok. The piicture reappeared on component input but never returned to my hdmi? I tried resetting my receiver, tried different hdmi cables and am out of options. Can this mean my receiver is going bad? Anyone come across this problem? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

test all the jacks with another device; if the problems are still there it may be the TV; otherwise I would see about replacing the SAT unit.
