No.. doubt thats it, the more I dig the more I am not liking what I hear.

Seems like they are trying to change the CE program so that SatelliteGuys members can not participate in the HD GUI beta.

I hope this is not true, while we are not on the best of terms with DIRECTV, I believe our members provideo more HONET and Valuable feedback then members of other forums who are affraid to say anything bad about DIRECTV or the CE program.

Doug Brott is supposed to make some big announcement tonight at 10PM ET even though there is no CE tonight.

No, only between 11PM and 2:30AM Friday and Saturday ET.

Oh yeah, tonight is Friday! Like Scott said, not this week.

That would normally be correct, but not for this week, since last weeks CE is going to be rolled out over the next week as a national release to all customers.

I fail to see how they could do that. They don't know who I am, they don't know what my real name or account number is, and unless they have a warrant they can't make you divulge my IP address, so how can they block me from downloading a CE if I know what time it'll be in the stream?
