    1080p with ce

    ADVERTS 1
I just noticed that while on the latest CE build (0596) the option for 1080p says (TV doesn't support). I know my TV supports 1080p, and it was able to be selected before. Is this a known issue? I tried searching for it on the boards, but couldn't find it. Thanks for the help!

My TV is showing that it does 1080p/24 as well as 1080p/60.

Does the 1080p not show up in the Misc. Options for you ?

So, if you go into the Misc. Options, it will tell you ALL the resolutions that the TV accepts.
Thats good for any one that doesn't know for sure what resolutions the TV works with.

One possible thing: You have to be using HDMI, not component, if you want to enable 1080p.

I think that is the case regardless for 1080p

The tv is 1080p supported, and I have HDMI in use with it. I wonder if going through my sound bar that disables the 1080p. Ill have to try to hook it up straight to the tv when I get home from work. I have all new High Speed HDMI cables so I know its not those. My XBOX 360 and PS3 both still show 1080p when I play them. Those are hooked up through the sound bar as well. Ill play with it later and see what I can get.
