    Slow speed w/Boolean Search

    ADVERTS 1
Is anyone else finding the speed way down on Boolean searches with the new user interface??? What used to take seconds now takes up to four minutes and when I select a show it takes about a minute and a haf to get to it! Is there anyway to get back the old, sd interface? DTV says no but I cannot get to a high enough level to talk to.

I use boolean searchs for autorecord for sports, but never use them for anything else, it was a setup and forget it.

Hopefully that improves, four minutes is a long time for a search.

There is no way to go back to the old interface, essentially it is impossible. Not techically, but it would take an act totall unprecedented on the Directv engineering group, excluding your receiver, they just don't do it. Once everyone is rolled out to the new one (next week), they will remove the old software from the satellites entirely.
