Pull up 103(b) and count the numbers you get, They add up to 16 with the last number being on transponder number 22.

Maybe not all the transponders are active right now. I thought that D10 had 32 transponders.

Hope you are correct about bringing able to turn on more transponders the HD feeds/count could go way up !

    Matt

Other transponders maybe spot beams. Read somewhere D10 had some and trouble with north west area USA ones.

If someone can do the math, D10 broadcasts a total of 500 MHz.
Whether all of this is CONUS is not known (by me anyway).

Question: Are the transponder sizes on Ka-band necessarily the same as the sizes on Ku-band?

Doesn't matter how many transponders. It's up to the licenses.

How much hassle is there involved in getting licenses to use the extra transponders?
