Another great quarter for D*, satcaster grew to 17 million subscribers. The churn rate fell to 1.36% compared to 1.44%.

For all of those people out there say " most subs are not hd subs".
Could be truth in that but tv providers DO know where the money is.

IMO they have a huge window of opportunity to continue this trend against other providers now. If they can get the rest of the HD nationals online fairly quickly they will just keep drawing more from the other providers..

This is because Dish network keeps screwing around and making bad decisions by thinking that they know what the consumers want. Congrats DirecTV for doing the right thing.

Dish is about to blow Directv out of the water anyways, so I wouldn't expect their profits to be up very much longer!
