NBC HALL OF FAME NFL GAME SUNDAY

dont know if anyones noticed, at least in nyc local, the NBC telecast sunday 8/03 look VERY good and much improved over last years HORRIBLE grainy image,,,,,anyone see that or record on dvr?

It did not look as good as CBS hd but it did look better. It may have been because the cameras were a little closer to the field.

To me it still looked as bad as last years presentations. Tons of macro blocking with any fast movment of the camera, especially with the crowd in the background. This was on OTA and the D* HD LIL feed of KXAN-DT and they don't have a subchannel to steal bandwidth from the main channel.

Good point. Subchannel will ruin a good hd channel anytime. I do not believe the NBC affiliate in Birmingham has a subchannel.

It's going to be interesting to see how our local CBS does this year, they added a subchannel for the RTN network a couple months ago.
