Yep he's been dead on 95 percent of the time. I just wish he would come around more often here

I'm offended that you think I'm so out of touch, rad!

I wont have a problem with "channels going blank". I got the HR-22 and its MPEG-4 compatible. I don't even watch MPEG-2 versions and I'll be glad when they ALL get removed. frees up bandwidth for more NATIONAL HD channels.

The insider is more reliable than anything you will read from your source (most of the time the sources are just reporting news that has already happened). He is so reliable, we even have MODS on this site praising this source who posts on another competing site.

NOTE: They are praising the insider source, not the competing site.

not true. websites report things weeks in advance and they have actually been confirmed by DirecTV themselves. if you try to post something on Wikipedia and put a forum thread as your source theyll take it down in a second.

I believe the old MPEG2 HD channels exist on either 110 or 119 which is being phased out for non international programming. Which means getting rid of MPEG2 HD won't free up any more bandwidth for national HD channels.

    We're not talking about wikipedia.

Trust me when we say the source/person we are referring to is much more reliable and even posts things before these websites you are referring to (before any confirmation can be made).

Also, Scott (not the person you are talking about I know) is a contributor to one of the sites he mentioned.

you mean Scott Greczkowski of "The Satellite Dish blog" (
    http://www.multichannel.com/blog/The...Dish/index.php

) on Multichannel.com? I've read that and he talks about Dish Network way more than DirecTV. Have I discovered the true identity of "satracer"
