HR21 dying...
ADVERTS 1
Guys, for a little over a month now, I've noticed my HDDVR is slow to respond. When I say slow...I mean..sloooooooowwwww....
I can honestly say that I've changed the channel and left to do something else because I knew the screen would be black for several minutes.
Now, it appears that I can't really rewind or fast forward something I have on list, because when I reach the point where I want to watch the picture and audio drops in and out a few moments..
Is my DVR dying or is there an update that I need to force?

it says I have 27% unused...actually, in the two years I've had it...I've never had more than 50% remaining.

Before ordering a new HDDVR you will want to do the "reset everything", which formats the drive and erases everything. If it is still slow after that, you need to call and explain, they'll send you a replacement.
I'm assuming you already tried rebooting it (red button in right access door)?

I reset it a couple of times. It seemed to help, but only for a little while. How do I do a complete reset?
