Double Play

Can someone explain to me the difference between using Double Play instead of opting to record both programs at the same time?

Works across multiple programs, dont have to delete programs when you're done, doesnt bump things off your DVR because you're recording stuff you don't want to?

You obviously didn't have a Tivo previously with dual buffers.

My simple answer - why record the programs if you don't have to? It comes down to what you're watching. If I'm just watching shows in general, I don't use it. I use it most often when watching sporting events. I can pause a game I'm watching, then go surf on the other tuner (often when the first game comes to a TO/commercial), maybe even checking out another game. Then when i come back to the original game I know I haven't missed anything because it's right where I left it.
