Interference from a vacuum?
ADVERTS
I have been a Directv customer for 10 years and have never seen this before. I have march madness on my local cbs channel and my wife starts vacuuming in the room. As soon as the vacuum turns on the picture starts pixelating as if there is a storm coming. As soon as the vacuum is turned off the picture returns to normal. What gives?

QUICK SOLUTION
you probably have it connected to the tv through the coaxial output right? Use either the RCA cable connections(yellow, red and white) or the S-video paired with the audio out from the receiver to Tv.
