WTF, Sunday Ticket price should be lowered not raised!!
ADVERTS 1
This NFL season is not going to be the greatest of seasons yet D* is charging customers like it is going to be.
With the lockout still not resolved yet, training camps are behind, team organization is behind, players don't have playbooks, free agency can't even start yet, who knows what shape the players are going to be in when camps open, we are about a month out from regular season staring yet the players have yet to practice as a full team. This season is going to be a cluster you know what!
Yet D* wants to increase the price of the season???? I don't get it! It's always the fans who lose out!
A black eye for D*, imo! Hope their Sunday ticket subscriptions tank this season.

Is this your first day here ?
Has GAS prices went down under $ 1.50 yet ?
Has the cost of Coffee gone down yet ?
Why do you think that D* should lower prices, they had nothing to do with this lockout.
Your no longer paying $ 100 a year for HD, look at it as a $ 100 savings right there.Let the Urban Era Begin !!!

There's a whole thread in here where people are getting significant discounts off the Sunday Ticket package.
By the way, 49 days from today is opening night. The time from when college practice starts to their first game is 29 days.....I think the professionals can be ready for week 1 in the NFL season.
Direct TV bid $4 billion dollars for the 4 year Sunday Ticket extension....you think they will automatically lower the price because camps are 2 weeks late?

If you don't like the price, pick up the phone and cancel your ST.I have had many complaints with DTV in the past, but none of them concern pricing. If I think the price is wrong,I just don't pay it. We all make a decision as to what we want to watch and how much we will pay.Try and find every game on some other provider.

Nice to see the D* staff all posting in here. Many NFL teams have chosen to keep their ticket prices the same as the previous season due to the lockout. Others have not raised their prices in 3 years, yet D* continues to raise their Sunday ticket price. Gotta love it!
As far as "people are getting significant discounts off the Sunday Ticket package" there is no rhyme or reason people are given discounts, why not just adjust the price accordingly for everyone? I have a friend who has had D* for 10 years, has ordered the Sunday ticket for as long as he can remember yet he called to talk to them about the letter he received concerning the automatic billing and the price. No discount offered to him. Yet another buddy who is on his third year with D* and the Sunday ticket called and will be receiving a monthly $10 discount for 5 months. Why? What do they base who they give a discount to on?
A lot of fans are put off by both the players and the teams because of the greed shown by each. Many football buddies of mine are equally mad about D* raising their price for this season. I really hope it translates into a horrible buy rate for the Sunday Ticket.

No one is forcing you to pay it either. If you don't like it, stop bitching about it and dump it already. It couldn't be simpler. You're talking about the most expensive professional sport in the world to watch in any form, and a package that has ALWAYS had the worst dollar to game ratio by far.
