Question Switching from E* to D* - Can I use the same wires?

    ADVERTS 1
I'm thinking about moving on from E* to D* as I can't stand not having the RSNs for NY anymore (actually not sure how I lasted so long), but anyway I was wondering if the installer could just use the existing cables that I have in place for E* for the D* installation. I am sure this is a really stupid question. I have one cable coming from the roof to the front of the house, and another from the roof to the back of the house - each one going into an E* DVR. Can the D* installation mimic what I have in place for E* and can I use the Whole Home option with this type of set-up?

Thanks - I tried searching the forums and I couldn't find the answers (though I might have botched up the search terms).
