voom dish for directv
ADVERTS
anyone use a voom dish as a directv dish? I got one on my roof. Trying to use for a locals dish but I'm having a hard time getting it to work.

It will work with dtv. Are you sure it's looking at the right satellite? If your other dish is round, try swapping the dtv lmb with the voom one. If then you don't have signal, the lmb is probably junk. No problem though, just swing by my place and grab one off the large voom pile in my garage!

Ya I just replaced the dish with a D* one I had laying around. I was using the pointing indicator for the 101 but it wasn't working right. I may have to get a signal finder and be done.
