    hr10-250 w/ dtc210

    hr10-250 w/ dtc210

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Okay, I'm in a state of confusion. Here is my problem. I recently switched from hd dtc-210 to hr10-250 (for recording purposes). Now with my dtc210 I got all resoultions available, 480i/720p/1080i but somehow with the hr10-250 I'm only able to get 480i/480p/1080i (no 720p) and the 480p looks as good as 1080i res (this is my second hr10-250 w/same problem - no 720p). So what I'm thinking of is this: Using both boxes - dtc210 for watching (the pq quality on this baby is phenominal - and I get all resolutions) and the hr10-250 for recording and tivo capablities. Is there a way to link these two together or should I have a separate line run for the dtc210 with the hr10-250 still hooked with the dual tuner options. Any help will be appreciated

To change that you must first make sure your setting are setup to show the HD feed of 720p. To do this press your Directv button again on the remote, then scroll to "Message&Setup", Next, go to "Settings", Then "Video" at bottom of list. Next, "Output Format - UP Arrow Settings", Finally select all Formats you HDtv can handle. Once done press "Live TV" to exit.
