Make sure you give your receiver some time. I have an HR-20 and 21 and they both took about 15 minutes AFTER resetting to come up and get going and probably took a good 5 minutes or so before the lights came on and stayed lit.

My HR20 rebooted on the 7th and I have had no more problems. Mine always seemed to lock up during wet weather. Had a service tech out and he thought I was a dip S*.
Used to be a SBCA cert. tech for Pegasus.
BTW glad to be a part of the group.
HDTV since 9/9/2001...The Sunday before.
D* since '95.

- 10-13-2008 07:08 PM #203DirecTV. I had FIOS but moved and cannot get it again even though a house 200 feet away has it and my street is wired. As a movie lover I am unhappy with DirecTV's premium channels. FIOS had all 26 HBO/MAX channels in HD. DirecTV has 4.

I have a Directv dual LNB with a 3x4 multi-switch a hughs receiver in one room and a HR22 DVr in another I recently had a tech install this the problems are numerious in hangs up it doesnt record some of the functions on the dvr dont respond. Can someone give me some advice thankyou
