    roof mount to pole mount

    ADVERTS 1
    Hurricane Ike has torn my dish from the roof of my house I want to move it to a pole mount to avoid roof damage again . What size pole do I need to place and how tall does it need to be . Please include any other information that might be useful .

    2" OD, the height depends on what you want to do with it.

    There are about 20 different threads here about people using pole mount set ups.

    Good point, in some areas all the put up now are 5 lnb set ups, but there is no rhyme or reason as to where.

    Topcat,
    If your placing the older single lnb, dual, or triple set up, they use a 1 5/8th " post, the new stuff 5 lnb AT-9, AU-9, Slimline 5 lnb set ups use a 2" od post.
