Remote television codes

Just had the direct tv technician set up DVR for my living room tv. He spent a long time trying to code the remote to the tv without any success. The previous remote worked well up until a couple of weeks ago when we no longer could turn it off and on or work the volumn. Need help. The tv is a panasonic approximately 6-10 years old. The remote is a RC64.

You can try this web site, DIRECTV - Remote Control Code Search, plug in your TV's model number and see if it works.

After going through about 20 codes on the site I found the one that worked. Thanks a lot Rad
