I need suggestions for new dish

    ADVERTS 1
I currently have a single LNB dish (very old) and a H20 receiver. I am moving soon and would like to upgrade to a triple LNB so I can receive my locals and HD programming. Can you suggest an inexpensive route for me to go? I just have one receiver.

WHICH "triple LNB" dish did you have in mind???
The oval PIII dish (about 18" X 20") will NOT work for HD prog.
The dish you really need is the slimline - since I have NO idea what local market you're in, you'll either need the 3 or 5 LNB version.

Since you say you're moving, why don't you just have D* do a mover prog for you. The dish upgrade needed for your area would be FREE, as well as you would most likely qualify for a FREE HD DVR.

Yes, you need a slimline. There are older dish options, but don't bother.

In addition, you need to add the HD programming option to your current package (it's like $10/month +/-).

I've bought a few from dealers on EBAY. I got the dish, LNB, the mounting bracket, and 2 stabilizer brackets for $75. The price even includes shipping.

May want to check your local Craig's list too. Make sure that any dish includes the monopoles (support brackets). Have seen them from $50 on up, but I wouldn't pay more that $75 delivered.

    I just checked real quick.

    Slimline 3LNB dish = $79 + another $26 to ship it.
This price doesn't include the 2 monopoles.
Doesn't seem like a "decent price" to me.
