Thread: HR21-200 RF remote works inconsistently. Interference?

I've got an HR21-200 DVR and RC64R remote. Setting to RF mode works, but it works inconsistently. Most of the time, it works great and I can use the remote from anywhere in the house.

But other times, it just quits working unless the remote is brought to within a few feet of the DVR. It's not a battery issue.

Any suggestions? Might there be something in my house that's interfering? I can't think of anything that correlates to the issue. I've shut off computers thinking maybe wireless mice might cause it (and I've hard shut off the mice) and that didn't fix it).

Out of the blue it'll just start working again. No rhyme or reason.

Any suggestions?
