I've downloaded my old dvr harddrive to a SATA drive...
ADVERTS 1
How can I either upload those shows to my new harddrive or download a show from the SATA to my computer? I have a friend that was on "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire" and I told him I'd give him a copy of the show; however, I can't figure out how to get it from my SATA drive to my harddrive to burn to a disc.

you will likely need to employ a video capture device on the PC or use a stand-alone DVD recorder

You cannot utilize the data from one DVR on another. This extends, perhaps illogically, to going from one model to the same model.
If your old DVR is no longer with you (such that you can do a capture as charper1 suggests), you're going to have to apologize.
