But remember a wireless game adapter is going to be quite a bit slower than a wired connection. That may make a big difference when it comes down to downloading HD movies (at least I hope we will have options to download HD!!)

It won't! I haven't been spending much time in front of the tube lately, but I just checked out all the DishHD channels and they honestly can't get any worse.

I thought you didnt have Dish anymore Jim.

Dishes MPEG4 HD channels look GREAT. Most of the channels that are up would look no different in 1920 x 1440 then they do now at 1440 x 1920 because they were all shot on HD Cam.

The MPEG2 stuff.... welll... you got a point there, but I dont feel they will be MPEG2 much longer (i.e. by the end of the year)

Any wireless bridge should work just fine.

For most people, the wireless shouldn't be slower than hard wire. A 54mbps connection in a average home environment should yield around 20mbps connection. What speed is your download?

Most people have an internet speed of 3 MB/sec or below. So yeah speed should not be a concern using one of these.
