Animal Planet is one HD channel that has lots of Wife Acceptance Factore (WAF)...just need Lifetime Movie Network HD which, after the New Years Day 2006 dispute, probably won't happen.

8AM - Sunrise Earth on APHD is standard def and cropped, not in HD.

I also noticed the weird cropping on the non-HD shows. The shows on Discovery HD that are HD look awesome though. Dirty Jobs, Build It Bigger, etc.

the aspect ratio on the new channels. Did a quick check before leaving for work this morning. Channels were on but they are not in the correct aspect ratio compared to other HD channels. There is about a 1" black bar on the left and right side of my Sony.
Scott, call some of your buddies and find out when they are going to fix this problem
