Question Can't seem to get 119 satellite on Dish 500

    ADVERTS 1
I am just trying to get Dish 500 to work with 311.

When I connect a RG6 to one of the connectors to the Dish500's TWIN LNB (BS1D1UP201M), I only get signal for 110. I can't seem to get 119. I tried the other connector on the LNB as well, but same results.

Basically, I can't get 119.. Is 311 compatible with Dish 500 Twin LNB?

    Thanks in advance.

Did you use the 110 to tune the dish in the first place? You may need to do a check switch. The 311 should be compatiable.

What hugh said. Run Check Switch first.

Plus, are you sure you've got the 110 LNBF pointing at 110? Or maybe the 119 LNBF is hitting 110. To check, cover the 110 LNBF. If signal stays, your dish needs to be twisted 9 degrees to the west.
