    If I cancelled...

    Sure. When I get a new receiver, I hook it up to the Dishs and TV before calling Dish to activate the receiver. At this point in time, I am like a non-subscriber.

    During this time I can see the NASA channel and several of Dish's slate channels such as 101 and a few others. But ah, not much else.

    Yes, NASA is the big one.

    I do this at my house. I have cable TV but a single LNB dish and an old legacy Dish receiver. Plugging it in gives me NASA TV, which I then modulate to a cable channel and combine with my house's cable feed.

    As you can tell, I need NASA!
