We have great course around here...and SciFi to watch in the evening (thats to make my comment on topic) and the muni's are a bargan...

A local dealer in my area with a contact at Dish got a negative response about getting these two. Not any time soon.

Another person with contacts at Dish had a more positive response. That was: If you subscribe to any HD package, have an MPEG4 box and can see 110 you should be able to get these two channels. I'm hoping this contact is correct.

I'm still calling Dish. The response tonight was: I should have it, but they're not sure why and a trouble ticket was opened. Not believing it, but she said I should have the channels within three days.

Sounds like a job for ceo@echostar.com. If you're getting signal from the requisite transponders, they should allow you to get the channels in the AK/HI version of the HD package.

I'm hoping they'll turn them on just to get rid of me.
