    total bill = 69.99

    + Setanta sports = 14.99

    Total = 84.98

    this is with one 622 and no DHPP
    I also did this and was told it will be $69.99 plus tax.

    Yes you can downgrade to the $10 HD pack with DVR Atvantage and nothing will happen. DVR Atvantage Has nothing to do with HD! DVR Atvantage is a package that combinds your Americas top package with your local channels and DVR service in One Package..This also allows you to add HBO,Showtime,Cinemax,Starz,Playboy,and (Americas top 250 only if upgrading from the top 200 pack) For $10 each.

    As far as NY RSN's are concerned, D* and E* subscribers will probably never get MSG or FSN New York in HD. Cablevision owns those two networks, and all of their advertisments down here in NYC tout the fact that they are the only place to get all 9 NY sports teams in HD. It's the only positive thing they have going for them.
    YES network...well, is a whole other debacle. They demand to be included on the AT100 package while every other RSN in the country in on AT100 plus ($5 more for the RSN's). The guys at Dish say if YES ever agrees to this, they'll flip a switch and give us YES in SD and FULL TIME HD!! Don't expect that to happen anytime soon.

    Just switched to the HD essentials pack. My service is bundled with Embarq, and the support specialist said there wasn't even a $5 fee when I asked if there was a charge to do so.

    Must be still early in the morning where they are, she just said "bye" and hung up when I thanked her.

    So long, Voom!

    I didn't see anything in this thread with regard to locals in HD. I have the AT200 with locals and the old HD Pak. If I order HD Essentials with the necessary receiver and dish upgrade, will I get my locals in HD?

    Since SciFi HD, CNN HD, and Fox News HD are imminent, I think I'll wait to see if any of them end up in the HD Essentials package.
