Carl: There are plenty of people looking for an MPEG4 IPTV solution. Were looking to sell set top boxes as theres an opportunity there, allong with intergrating DVR technology. Were looking to expand our subscriber base beyond dish.
SATS is looking to expand FSS service, they have goverment contracts, looking to expand to teleco's and other markets. They belive that the current FSS providers cant expand the current satellite services where Sats can.Any posts on this forum are my personal thoughts and do not represent the views or reflections of my current employer!

They are eventually going to move the eastern arch project over to sats.

Transponder compasity is in sec. 10K.
Charlie: FSS compasity is cheaper than DBS compasity, and It depends on orbital slots. Where DBS has 9 degree spacign and FSS is every 2.Any posts on this forum are my personal thoughts and do not represent the views or reflections of my current employer!

Sling question
There are plans to integrate Sling technology into dish boxes, and have interest with other operators. As announced at ces. Looking some time this year.
