Is it possible that after Dish cancelled 15 of the 20 stations (or whatever it was), Voom just said F it and pulled the plug on themselves? Closed up shop and sent everyone home?

I can't imagine Dish would have updated their website to just show the remaining 5, when they planned on shutting them down two days later.

I would be shocked if it happened that way. I suspect Voom had/has every intention of fighting this to the death (as they should). Dish probably just pulled a fast one before Voom could find a way to force Dish to keep the channels on.

It could all be part of their research. Do they get more complaints today, than they did yesterday? Do more people want to drop to HD Essentials than yesterday?

Although I was annoyed yesterday, I didn't consider the pull a blow to the value of that package until today.

I really love HDNet Movies, MGM and Smithsonian look cool, and Universal is OK too. But I may have to drop down just to make a statement.

I suggest anyone who is not happy with this keep writing Dish customer service and the CEO (link to his email in a post above this one). I for one was thrilled at the addition of the new channels the other day, but I am very upset about the loss of Monsters HD, Film Fest, Rave and News HD (which was all news in true HD, much more than CNN has in true HD).

This sucks. I watched Voom alot.

This is probably one of the worst ways that I have seen a business handle their current customers. Hopefully Scott will drill Charlie on this on Saturday.
