    Can we suspend our acct for a period of time?

    I'm debating on getting E* along with D* and I was wondering if you could suspend your account for a period of time..say the NFL season =]

    When I went away for the summer, I was able to put my E* account on vacation hold. At the time that cost $5 per month. The longest I did that for was 6 months. Many people who winter in warm climates also do this suspend.
    DBS user since 1996: 622 has 1-PROSCAN LCD 240hz 42" via HDMI (using a Pioneer VSX 516 home theater) and a Toshiba 36" SD via tv2 with 1 SimpleTech 500GB and 1 WD 1.5 TB EHDs ;722 has 1-Vizio 3D HDTV 42" via HDMI (with a Panasonic Blu-Ray 3d via HDMI) and 3 SD TVs connected to tv2 with 1 SimpleTech 500GB .

    it might cost more depending on what types of receivers and services you have. it's costing me around $50 a month to be on pause.

    dang, if it was costing me $50 to be on pause, i think i would just downgrade my package to the "family package" and deactivate all of my receivers, lol.

    much cheaper then my regular bill. the only thing i don't get are the adult channels and i have 5 tuners on this account

    Last time I tried to pause, I was told that i could only do so if I was NOT under contract. Something to check in to.
