Signal Strength Meter
ADVERTS 1
I would Like to purchase a signal strength meter to take camping. I have a S.D. for home, but when we camp, I take my Dish 500 dish. The S.D. is to big to pack for caming! I find that tuning in even 119 and 110 can be tough in some areas we camp. I am wondering if a signal meter might help make things easier. I do start with the numbers Dish suggests for the zip code we are in, but sometimes I find I end up way off those.
What do you recommend to us for dish network to tune? Where can I buy? Will this also help me tune my S.D. at home? Kinda hard to run a piece of RG-6 out to the dish and then have a TV out there too.
Thanks for your help!!

Dan,
You can find small signal strength meters at MAT Electronics and maybe even Parts Express. Both these places can be found online.

Always do right. This will gratify some people and astonish the rest.
