I have Fox Sports Pittsburgh and Sports Time Ohio, but I can't find a generic Fox Sports net channel.

I have Fox Sports Pittsburgh and Sports Time Ohio, but I can't find a generic Fox Sports net channel.

There is no such thing. The group of Fox Sports RSN's (for instance, Fox Sports Pittsburgh and Fox Sports Detroit and all the others) make up Fox Sports Net.

What I'm interested in is an MMA event that is supposed to take place this weekend. The information the event has put out says:

Affliction: ‘Banned’ will begin at 8 p.m. ET (5 p.m. PT) on the Fox Sports Net channel in the United States and The Fight Network in Canada. The broadcast will run for one hour on those networks, featuring two bouts before moving directly to pay-per-view (PPV).

I can't find anything on the guide related to that on FSN on that day and time. There's actually a Pirates game on.

I am actually finding it listed on SOME FSN channels. I guess if you local team has a baseball game that night, you can't watch "Affliction Live".
