Thinking of going to Directv...
ADVERTS 1
Not out of bad blood, but maybe you guys can help...
I live in zip 25880 which is ineligible to receive local chans except for one OTA. It is in 480i I believe lol... I did "move" to Atl for HD locals.
I love the Pittsburgh Penguins... So much so that I bought the CI package just to catch their games. (at that time I had NYC locals).
With D* I can get HD locals except for the OTA ABC NY and be able to catch the FSN Penguins games.
Is there a strategy I can use to get Penguins games and HD locals??
If I had my choice, I would love to stay with Dish because of the superior dvr.

But I would end up saving money in the long run. I just would hate to lose Dish though! It seems that dishes 250 package has more channels than the D* one that I was looking at which stated 200+

Thanks Curtis. I hate to leave dish, but it is looking more like the right spot for me for now at least. I can end up saving a lot without having to pay for the NHL CI package just for one team, and saving a little bit more.
But when I go to their site, I guess their receivers dont let you use more than one tv per receiver... Might not save as much after all!~

I stay with E* because i love the 722, but I'd drop any provider in a heartbeat if it meant watching my teams play on an RSN for considerably less money.

Depending on how are out of the ATL are you are, you may not be able to "move" for HD LIL with DIRECTV where you are sucessful with DISH Network. DIRECTV's spotbeams are pretty "accurate" (relatively small).

Their site said I was eligible for all the Distant Networks (from NY) except for ABC and they were offered in HD as well on the same page. So I won't really have to "move" with them.

STICK WITH DISH!
I deal with Direct, DISH and Comcast in my profession and the 722 beats them all hands down in my opinion. I'm stuck in a Direct contract at home with the HR20's and can't wait to move to Dish and the 722's. THEY'RE SO MUCH NICER AND FASTER.
