Eastern Arc When Moving?
ADVERTS 1
My apologies if this has been asked before. If you're an existing customer, and you move (for real) into an area that is part of Eastern Arc, presumably using the Dishmover option, will they go ahead and hook you up with Eastern Arc? We have two 622's and subscribe to AEP if that makes any difference.

EA is NEW CUSTOMERS only at current time. How does moving make you a new customer? Beside read Scott's review of EA.

I never implied that I thought moving would make you a new customer. I was simply asking a question if they would go ahead and migrate you since they're going to have to hook up a new dish anyway. Chill out man...

It would make sense to migrate a valued (i.e. high paying) customer like you right now, but I doubt Dish will. I would love to have a one-dish HD solution myself. I hear the Eastern Arc dish is in short supply. I also think you will need a new smart card.
If I were in charge of Dish I would give you an Eastern Arc dish! Can you delay moving a few months? (Just kidding!) Perhaps starting next year the restrictions will ease up a bit.
