    Question for a "mover"

    ADVERTS 1
I'm going to be ordering a new receiver soon and I was wondering whether any fellow "movers" had success with E* sending the receiver to their billing addresses. Or if it's a better idea to go ahead and "move" back to your actual address then have them send it. I've tried to "move" back to my actual address a couple of times recently and both times the CSR on the online chat said it would take effect in 15-20 minutes and both times there was no change. Up until this I've never had any issues with "moving".

They will send the receivers to your billing address. Just make them read back to you the address to make sure they have it correct. You should not have a problem.
And sometimes the 'change' takes time, sometimes the old locals do not fall off for weeks or months, or in some cases even longer than that.

I'm not just talking about the old locals falling off. On my account info on the website it still shows the old addy and I'm still not getting the new locals that I tried to "move" to. I think it may be the case of CSRs not knowing what they're doing. But thanks for the heads up, I will probably have them read my billing addy back to me so hopefully that won't get the thing sent to the wrong place.

Your account info is not instantly updated on the web. There is a lag time for the changes to take effect. I notice this whenever i change my programming package.

I know about the lag time. But usually it's like 15 or 20 minutes. It's been over a day and nothing happened. Then I tried again tonight around 8PM and still nothing. Even though they both said it would take effect within 20 minutes.
