Proud Staff MemberI am sitting in the airport in Denver getting ready to head home in Connecticut.
This years Team Summit was one of the best, but not because of new products or channels, but this time around Dish listened. They fully admitted that have problems and were very willing to lend and ear and take notes on what they can do to become better. I applaud that.
Next years Team Summit will take place in San Antonio, Texas and it looks like we will have another SatelliteGuys event which will be on May 14th.
Stay Tuned.

I think that Charlie is completely wrong about the computers vs. tv thing. The state of tv over the internet is changing almost on a daily basis and I think that eventually everyone will have some type of 'computer' capable of delivering internet video hooked up to their tv. These guys need to figure out a way to embrace this technology or they are going to go the way of the dinosaur.
I bought a $90 used PC from Ebay and connected it to my living room tv. Getting it on the home network took a little technical savy but after that it works very well and I can easily see this thing supplanting most of my tv viewing in the near future. The only thing that is missing for me is sports programming.
