Can I change programming at the time of installation

My uncle if getting Dish installed tomorrow. He has changed his mind and wants to change the programming.
His question is if he will be allowed to change the programming at the time of installation or should he cancel the installation?

you can change programming anytime you want. Just let the guy know when he shows up what ur new programming is or you can wait and do it after he leaves by calling dish

I would call ahead of time, so his first month's billing will be clean, ie, no partial credits/charges for the first month.
