Nothing, you will get the one HD transponder from 110 instead of 61.5, all of the other HD on 61.5 will still come from 61.5.

They offer RSN nationally if you pay extra. Black out rules of course apply. Currently those who want all need both 129 and 61.5.

Well...if the HD on 110 will be on CONUS...more HD channels can be made available for PR

Well, they are not moving anything off 61.5 just yet (need to load those channels on 72.7 or 77 first for eastern arc-ers).

129 has only one switchable TP (at least for the US, there is a Canadian beam that probably will never be used), namely TP17.

Moving channels to E11 at 110 enables them to provide the HD to AK, HI, and PR without using spotbeam space. Given recent changes in those packs, I bet this is the big reason.

Also, now maybe they can use another 129 TP for part time RSNs.

I really hope they won't start offering full time RSNs until they find homes for AMC, IFC, TCM, HLN, ESPNU, E!, G4, Hallmark, and Outdoor.

That's CONUS only on 129. On 61.5 the highest beam number used is 17, 129 picks up the rest of the west coast beams that 61.5 doesn't need to use.

I'm still curious how these channels are going to look packing all that into one transponder. Not mention how are they going to look on 77 since 77 doesn't run 8PSK, their transponders are 30 megabit instead of 40.

I agree. Fulltime RSNs are unnecessary so long as the important games are broadcast which they seem to be.
