can I use silver remote from 522 on 722k?

what can I do to make my old silver remotes (green insert) work on my new 722k receivers?

I have several silver remotes that worked fine with the 522s and only two remotes for TV2 with the new 722ks.

does anyone know how I can program them?

I'm sure they will work if you just set up the remote addresses on 'em. Look in the manual for changing remote addresses. I'm using a couple of old UHF remotes with my 722 (NOT K) as well as using the new black (21.0) remotes with both the 722 & 622. They work fine.

go to the system info screen press menu twice

hold down sat button til all lights blink enter number from one to 10
repeat for uhf

those remotes r the same for the 722
