Will there ever be a NASA HD

    ADVERTS 1
    Hi,

After watching the replay of the space shuttle launch on HDNET yesterday I was just wondering if there would ever be a NASA HD?

The HDNET broadcast was so much better than the NASA on ch 213.

The HDNet feed is from NASA, so evidently NASA is using HD equipment. NASA HD would be cool.....

That is what I was thinking, the only SD feeds I think were coming from the external tank camera after liftoff.

Yes, NASA actually broadcasts a full HD channel for launches and other events, I have watched it a few times on my C Band Dish.

Unfortunately its not a 24/7 channel.

You can also visit the NASA Spaceflight.com forums (must join) and download clips which you can burn to AVCHD or HDDVD format Dvd's to watch...
