VoIP Providers with VIP622 receivers
ADVERTS 1
I am getting ready to replace my expensive ($60/month) Verizon Freedom Essentials phone plan with VoIP (voice over IP) phone service. I have my VIP622 receivers connected to both internet and phone. I like the ability to see the caller ID on my TV from the VIP622 receivers. My choices for VoIP are the following:
1) Vonage - $20/month - works with DISH equipment
2) Phone Power - $199.95 for 2 years - no experience - does it work with DISH?
3) Via:Talk - $189 for 2 years - no experience - does it work with DISH?
4)ITP - $199 for 1 year - no experience - does it work with DISH?
Do any of these providers allow me to send or receive FAXs?
I would appreciate any comments from any of you that use any of these providers? I thank you in advance for your help.

I've had ViaTalk for almost three years now and have no complaints. It DOES work with Dish equipment, I have a 625 receiver. For the price and the features, it is a great service! The only problems I've had with it have been completely at my end with my netgear router.

Not sure if Ooma works with Dish, but I highly recommend them for your voip service. After initial purchase, no monthly fee. I got it and love it.
