722k not going to live mode

    ADVERTS 1
I have a problem that has been popping up lately with my 722k. When I'm watching a "live" program but have paused it then un-paused it, if I turn off my TV (without having caught up to "live" TV), when I turn it back on and try to change channels via my 722k, it gives me the warning that it can't proceed due to not being in "live" mode.
Yesterday I was watching a program that I had paused for a few minutes while I did something else, then returned to watching it, deciding I really needed to be doing something else, I turn off the TV. My 722k was set to record a program about 15 minutes later. When I sat down that evening to watch the recorded program, the 722k was still on the original channel I was watching earlier and would not let me change channels due to not being in "live" mode. Also, the program it was set to record it didn't. That program was listed in the "My Recordings Schedule" with the notation "Signal" where it usually says "Done". I don't recall this happening ever before. The 722k has always giving me warnings when trying to change from watching a "paused" program to a "live" program, but I don't remember having this kind of problem after my TV has been turned off and hours have passed before I start watching it again.
Is it my 722k or just me?

It sounds like the 722k was working as it should. Instead of pausing you should have recorded the rest of program. Then you could've watched it later. It couldn't record the event you had schedule since you were over riding it by staying with the other channel. Only to sat channels can be on at the same time.
