I'm Confused on the HD Only Options!

    ADVERTS
Is there such a thing to start with (not locals but some of the other channels)? If so what are they and what is the prices? The Dish web site is not exactly a fountain of information on this subject.

I think these are the package prices.

    Turbo Bronze $30
    Turbo Silver $40
    Turbo Gold $50

Add $10 for a DVR and HD locals.

You have to ask the CSR as E* isn't currently advertising them.

I think they have been calling all HD channels by the name HD Platinum. At least that is the service that appears on my bill for HD (I have the classic silver package)

No. Platinum is an extra set of channels over and above your service tier, which would be Bronze, Silver, or Gold. Dish screwed up when they decided to name tiers and packages with metals. It's easy to get confused, which is why they're going back to the America's Top scheme.
