Blocked by trees.Add a third dish antenna??

    ADVERTS 1
    Hi All,

I tried to get the HD upgrade. Unfortunately, the technician that came out said I was unable to get 129W, required for HD programming.
My view if the sky is extremely limited. I have one dish antenna aimed at 119(dish pro plus LNB) and one dish aimed at 110 (running into the dish pro plus LNB in).
If I add a third dish antenna I could possibly get the 129w sat.

Is it possible to add a third dish antenna to this setup??
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes it is possible to add the 3rd dish. Is there and location that you can get a LOS to 129? try using dishpointer to see if it is possible to do this.

I used the dish pointer utility (very cool, thank you), and went out with a compass. It seems I have a clear LOS at 190°, if I move approximately 30’ to the east from the 119w dish.
What additional hardware would be required and where could I find information on the configuration?
    Thank you for your help

Here is the switch that I think will work for you at the Dish Store.
The Dish Store - Powered by Metro25

Then you will need another dish & dish pro single LNB link for these at Dish Store

ignore the fact it say 61.5 & 148 it can be used w/129 just as well and it has the I adapter to center the LNB. Run all 3 cables to the switch and from it to the place where your rcvr is located. I think that will be all you need until you get the new VIP box.
