I think it happened while Jim and Amir were dreaming (sleeping), as Scott relates to in his post below.

And commercial talk is done, the commercial guy throws it back to Jim and Amir who appear to be sleeping... after a few moments of silent they realize they are on. Amir says sorry for not paying attention.

Ok went back and took a look at the receiver pricing...

And it was still fuzy, but was abble to get a bigger screen shot making it easier to read.

Maybe someone can post a table or something summarizing the new price structure in one place? Including whether or not the order of receivers in the account matter? And how Dish considers a 211 with EHD, as a solo or as a solo DVR?

Looks like a +/- 20% increase for me This is absolutely ridiculous.

You're lucky my increase is 38 percent.

Edited see below, I'm very HOT...

Previously my Bill was 132.98

So Dish starts Charging me a Account DVR Fee plus an additional $12.00 for each extra receiver for a total of an extra 51.02 per month, Wow Thanks for Simplifying my Bill Dish. The Thing that really burns me is all my Additional SD Dual Tuner DVR's were purchased by me at retail price and wholly owned by me, so Now I will have to pay $17.00 per month to use them. Secondly if one dies I would have to add the DHPP plan to replace it, really. I can't believe Dish is going to charge me $17 per month and not warranty them for that same $17.00 per month.

I've been a Dish Sub since 1997, always with the highest available package and this is how Dish treats their best customers. If DirecTV does sign a new agreement with Versus before the NHL playoffs, I'm LONG GONE, unless I escalate my concerns and get some consideration to lower these pricing increases. I can then sell off my additional Dish hardware for cash in my pocket.

Looks like $154 not including any taxes etc.

Edit: I think I forgot the HD programming fee so add another $10.

Doubles the price on a 501 and 508. Was 5.00 as an additional receiver and will now be 10.00
