DTVPal DVR- connecting 2 TVs?

As this unit only comes with one remote I realize it really isn't a 2/Dual TV solution but....
If I connect an HDTV with the HDMI connection and connect an SD TV with coax or component I should be able to watch from either TV? (they are in two different rooms on either side of a common wall so cables will reach both).
If they were both on at the same time they would both just have the same program - right?

Yeah although I havent tried that it should work, I dont have a HD tv
