Has anyone tried the VuQube (portable satellite system)???

    ADVERTS
Hi guys. I was just wondering if any of you have tried VuQube? It is a portable satellite system / mobile dish type of thing that claims to work with either DISH or DirecTV. I was looking into getting something like this for vacation and taking it to our cabin, but wanted to know if anyone had tried it out and what they think of it. Thanks!

I met with the company at Team Summit last year and they told me they wanted to send me one to review for the site...

I never h eard from them after that.

Too bad I am sure a lot of SatelliteGuys members would have been interested in this product.

It only picks up one satellite location. Pretty much useless for either Dish or Direct.

From what I remember it switches between satellites (takes a few seconds for the dish to move)
