What is your new billing on 721 replacement receivers ?

    ADVERTS
People who had their 721 receiver replaced by Dish (usually by a 522 or 625), please report your new billing for that replacement receiver.

This is not for 722 receivers, it is for 721 replacements.

This would be the billing for a period that starts in February, with the new monthly equipment rates.

I see there is a new "TV 2 connection" fee of $5.00. I'm going to call and complain!

My bill should either tomorrow or wednesday.

I had three 522s that were replacements for three 721s. I did replace two of them last month with 612s. I'll let you know how I come out on my bill.

    Got my bill posted today.
My primary receiver is a 722. Total of 4 receivers.
When I had three 522s, which where replacements for my 721s, the bill was:

DishDVR Adv Classic Silver 200 57.99
    3 Premiums $31 (Starz, Top 250, HD)
    DuoDVR $5
    DuoDVR $5
    DuoDVR $5
    DishDVR advantage credit of $3
    Total $100.99

I replaced two of the 522s with 612s.
    The new billing is:

    Top 250 w Locals $62.99
    Starz $12.99
    Gold HD $10
    DuoDVR $17 (522)
    HD Solo DVR $10 (612)
    HD Solor DVR $10 (612)
    Total $122.98

I noticed there is no one per account $6 DVR fee. Looks like that is how Dish will get around the promise to the 721 owners. Not charge the one per account $6 fee, but still charge the big $17 fee for the replacement receivers.

In additon to the above charges I also have:
    Receiver Credit 1 of 6 $5
    Loyalty Credit 1 of 6 $6
Loyalty Offer 2 of 12 $10 (this was the one they gave me when I was going to cancel my account last month)

Interesting, because my bill was exactly the same and I thought it was a glitch.

What seems likely is that 721 replacement receivers get:

    Full $17 fee
    Six months of loyalty credit
Six months of receiver credit if you keep the receiver for another 6 months
    Waive the DVR fee

The question is - How long will the DVR fee be waived ?

By the way, any other 721 replacement receiver customers - please check your bill and post whether you have the same outcome as CFGuy and I do - thanks !
