Consider doing a forum search for the word "penny". If you do, you'll find an exhaustive thread on the subject.

Consider the amount of time it took you to type out a 19 word response is 18 words more than what is required to provide an adequate answer to the question.

Consider that in the future, you might choose to search for the answer in an existing thread rather than diverting the discussion to a new thread that lacks all of the information gathered in the previous thread.

    Tough crowd..
No it is not. Most people have received the notice that it is ending when their year is up. If you currently have it, watch that you are not charged when it end.

basically if you still have it, dont worry about it. Even if they send you something telling you it's going away, it might not. There's really no rhyme or reason to it at this point. The only thing you should do is check your bill after you get notice. If you dont have it, you would probably have to do some serious arm pulling to get it.

They don't offer it anymore, as far as signing up for it. They are honoring those that already have it. My two years on the program ends around 5/12/10. I never watch it, and will not pay full freight for it. I don't think my son watches it either. Wife certainly doesn't. We have HBO/SHO now anyway.

BTW, as one who has used the Search function on this site a bit, I must say it leaves a great deal to be desired. So while it is somewhat useful, I can't blame anyone for finding it of little use.

I lost it a few days ago when something went wrong with my autopay. I noticed the money didn't move and it was 2 days late so I had a CSR force the payment.

That was it. Poof! Max was gone.

A nice CSR was just able to put it back on for me for 3 months for free at least. It is rare that I watch it anyway.

But harsh, there are some people who don't want to do the work, they just want it things handed to them...isn't that the American Way?
SERIOUSLY PEOPLE, THERE REALLY IS A DIFFERENCE AND IT ISN'T HARD TO FIGURE OUT!!!
    >Loose=not tight, as in: Babette's garter is really loose and she may lose it.
    >Lose
=don't have it anymore, as in: Babette will lose her garter because it is really loose.
    >Could care less=you can actually care less even more than what you do now.
    >Couldn't care less=there is absolutely no more caring that can be cared about
