ADVERTS 1
my friend has been a long time subscriber for over 10 years.this month he will be late on his bill by 10 or 15 days.my question is would dish shut him off for being late.he is afraid they would.my question is how long would it take before they do shut him off.I told him not to worry.but he does not have access to the internet and told him I would ask here.

Just have him call in and tell them he will be late and to give them a date to expect payment. I'm sure they'd rather work with him than shut off the service. I don't think one late payment should be a big problem.

I think you have over a month before they cut off service.

He'll be fine, a call in advance is a good idea.

There may be a $5 charge for paying late.

you need to be 58 days past due for him to get shut off. 2 weeks will not be a problem, unless he is a pay in advance account. There is a $5 late fee.

I've had a card on autopay expire and it was over a month before they said anything.
